There are 14 great reasons for wine lovers to visit Spokane:
the wineries of the Spokane Winery Association. Even though
this region is not located in the heart of Washington State’s “wine
country”, Spokane is home to some of the finest winemakers in the
country. Why? Because smaller family-run wineries are able to
thrive here; and for the owners, that means a hands-on approach
to the production of their wines. “We intimately know every grape
that is put into the bottle.”
Local vintners are producing an eclectic blend of distinctly
Washington wines ranging from intense, rich reds and crisp whites
to complex blends, and even a bit of the bubbly. Varieties include
Chardonnay, Riesling, Muscat, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot
Noir, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot,
Barbera, and proprietary blends of both reds and whites.
You’ll find a warm welcome at area tasting rooms here in Spokane
along with winemakers ready to share their passion for their
products. Some wineries are open daily, and most all are open on
weekends.
Spokane - a great area with great wines.

It is the mission of the Spokane Winery Association to promote
