Spokane’s local wineries gear up for their annual Spring Barrel Tasting – a weekend of wine, food & fun.

For the first time ever, twelve Spokane wineries will be opening their doors to visitors and guests on Mother’s Day Weekend

Spokane, Washington:  Spring finds wineries everywhere gathering together to share their newly made wines with friends and colleagues.  This is a time of celebration that typically marks the end of the winemaking season and the start of a new wine year.  Spokane’s local wineries invite their friends from near and far to join them in the festivities of their annual Spring Barrel Tasting.

Activities at each winery include:

·                   Sample new wines

·                   Sample pre-released wines

·                   Sample wines still in the winemaking process directly from barrels or tanks

·                   Talk with knowledgeable and friendly wine lovers at each winery
